He has 13 years in the trade, starting at a Volkswagen approved bodyshop, where he achieved apprentice of the year.

Since completing his apprenticeship in automotive refinishing, he's continuously perfected his skills. Later moving to the RNLI, he transferred his skills to building and repairing Shannon class lifeboats.

After moving back to repairing cars, he decided it was time to take the plunge and go self employed in November 2023.
