“Barnet and Boatrace was founded by local lass, Olga based in Ashley Cross, Poole.

Olga has been in the makeup industry for 20 years. She started her makeup journey as a hobby working part time for Richard Branson’s well loved former makeup company Virgin Vie.  Olga’s passion for makeup steadily grew into a full time career working freelance for brides and their wedding parties alongside some talented hair stylists in and around Dorset.  In 2016 Olga decided to launch her own company, Barnet and Boatrace - for those non Londoners, that’s cockney rhyming slang for hair and face!

As the business has grown, Olga is proud to have sourced and recruited her own team of Freelance Makeup Artists and Stylists to assist her with large wedding bookings in Dorset as well as Hampshire.

The Barnet and Boatrace team use a range of luxury hair and makeup products and carry out their magic in the comfort of your own home as well as luxury wedding venues across the whole of Dorset.
