The two terraces of houses back in the 1890's were originally built for the workers who farmed the surrounding land; it was filled with apple, plum and lilac trees and they were collected and sold out of this house as the local store and shop; Two of the original Lilac's still grow in the garden.This house has been a truly wonderful home to live in, always warm and quirky, always somewhere that has brought and provided much love. Even the roses on the front are over a hundred years old and I have never seen a house covered in such beautiful flowers and scent throughout the warmer months.

The neighbours are all long term residents that have been there over decades, wonderful and friendly people, no noise or disruption, just a harmony of people and families that help to make a house and its neighbourhood a 'home'.


Having grown up a few doors away as a child and then been here in this house for almost twenty years, I can honestly say it makes my heart ache deeply to leave it but life moves forward and another journey begins.
