"We love the character of 1930s properties and in this price range it offered so much potential and so much more space than other properties we viewed at the time. The garden was a key reason
given its large size and not being overlooked.

We also liked that it was detached and if we had stayed in the house, the plan was to build a loft conversion like many others in the street have done. As one of us works from home, it was also crucial that we had enough land to build a garden office. We also knew when we bought the property that we wanted off road parking for two vehicles which we created a few years later.

Lastly, we loved this property so much because of the location. It’s fantastic. We are water sports people and to be able to jump in the car after work and drive less than 10 minutes to go kitesurfing or paddle boarding is a dream. The schools in the area are great and two are in walking distance. You leave the front door step and you can jog into Bournemouth and back through the beautiful Victorian gardens or if you’re feeling fit, do a round trip, down to the Pier through the gardens, then along the beach and back home via Sandbanks and Ashley Cross."
