Courthill Road, Lower Parkstone, BH14Guide Price £375,000
If you are looking for a family home this could be the one!
As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted by a homely feel. To start there is a large open plan lounge/diner with natural light flowing through. The kitchen is well equipped and gives access to the garden. Many of the neighbouring properties have extended and knocked through the kitchen/diner to create an open plan living space.
Moving upstairs there are two good sized double bedrooms and a third single bedroom. You will also find the main family bathroom.
The rear garden is a good size and on three levels with plenty of space to BBQ, socialise and entertain. Working from home? Why not pop a garden office at the end of the garden. To the front there is parking for one car.
Courthill Road is an extremely popular location due to its proximity to the school. You can also easily walk to the local shops, bus stops and Alexandra Park. Poole and Bournemouth town centres and the award winning beaches of Sandbanks are all a short drive away. Ashley Cross can be walked to with its little shops, facilities, fashionable bars and bistros. Parkstone train station commutes directly to Southampton, Winchester and London.
When we bought this house 13 yrs ago we felt immediately, as we walked in, that it felt like somewhere we could make a home and start a family. It's lovely and bright and the garden completely sold it to us. We loved the wide decking area for future entertaining and the privacy of the top of the garden was so unusual to have in this area.
We love the community on the street, having the convenience of shops, restaurants and bars so close and the best school run in the world! It's been a dream being able to nip back and forth with our two daughters. We will really miss the view from our bedroom, you can sit in bed with a cup of tea and look out to all the green trees with no one looking in on you. Having Alexandra Park at the end of the road has been a real bonus for the kids. Even though our garden is North facing the elevated levels have meant we get the most amazing sun well into the evening. It's a real sun trap, perfect for BBQ's.
We have loved every one of our 13 years of living here. This is the house we got married from and started our family and have created so many memories with our friends, so it will be sad to leave that behind. We will miss our neighbours a lot, we hit the jackpot with them.
We will also miss having the Tesco at the bottom of the street, you can't under value the ability to grab groceries so easily!
